Angry 2011 Outlander ES Moonroof Leak

Apparently according to my dealership service manager he stated to me that the seal on the moonroof is not strong enough to handle the touchless water pressure of (60 psi/inch). But I think that's a load of crap how does a brand new car in today's day in age not able to go through a wash without leaking? Has anyone else had this problem? Should I escalate the issue to the headquarters?

Basically what happened was that we went through a car wash for our brand new car with under 500 km on it and had the inside cover open to see what a touch less wash looks like... I know lame. But anyways, while looking through the glass we both felt water on our face. No it's not raining or dripping in my car but there was some leak. What should I do? Yes, the roof was completely closed and there is no visible tear or wear of the rubber seal. Food for thought?
