2011 Outlander Roof Leak?
Anyone heard of the roofs leaking?
It's been really cold here in Alberta the past week, and I have been parked outside. I also had washed the vehicle and there was moisture on the floor mats so I dont know if it was built up condensation?
Either way, today it warmed up to just below freezing. I noticed that the front light switch on the roof between the two seats had water come our of one of the lights when I moved the card. I pulled the light box out and there was water built up around the inside of the bezel. Also some drops on the roof itself, and I stuck my hand up inside and the insulation between the roof and head liner was damp.
I also noticed where the head liner meets the plastic peice coming up from the dash on the A pillar, the head liner was damp with water, right on the edge.
Roof leak you think, or condensation? I'm not sure where it would leak from, and the rest of the head liner is not damp. But that insulation between the head liner and metal roof definitely is.
