Default 2011 Outlander Sport Door Sill (scuff plate) placement

Hey guys,

I just got a new Outlander Sport a couple days ago and just got the protection package put on today. When I got home, I noticed one side of each scuff plate isn't flat on the plastic because the plastic is curved. I'm not sure if the dealer didn't put it in the right place or what. I pushed it down but it kinda lifts up a bit. Can anyone post a picture of theirs if it was factory installed? I just want to see the alignment. Also and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dont have a pictre but if you do try a search, like ebay, most metal sills are put on the metal portion of the outlander and not on the plastic part. Like this S/ Steel Scuff plates Door Sill Mitsubishi Outlander | eBay. I dont know if its OEM but thats where I will put mine so as to protect the painted portion.

Here are the ones I have. I don't like the stainless steel door sill protectors.

Sorry, it sits on the metal part. I'm just not sure if it is centered correctly (too far forward or back) in the door opening.
