Default 2011 outlander sport headlight switch mod?

ok well i have a 2011 outlander sport. i did some searching but have found nothing. id like to get the foglights to come on with just the parkinglights. iv done this on my vw's and audi's pull out the switch tape off some pins an stuff and the fogs will come on with out the headlights. well i know on the outlander the headlight switch is on the stoack. so is there anyway to do this?

The Lexia tool lets you do it on the regular Outlander at least, I did it by disabling DRLs but you can probably make the fogs become DRLs as well (to avoid having to turn the ring each time) Its about $120 online.

i just did this mod. i come from subys where we had to just do some rewiring. the outlander's lights are controlled by an ecu, and you have to hack it with the lexia tool.

Read up on this thread, it has lots of info and steps. You need that diagnostic tool to do these things. There are other interesting features that you can enable using that, like auto door locking and unlocking (note that you can also mess things up if you change something to what it's not supposed to).

Anyone know how to leave the fog lights on all the time and overtime that you turn the car on without manually doing it?
