Well, both of my rear calipers are shot. I ordered two new rear ones from O'Reilly's last week and got a phone call today saying the manufacturer is out of stock. Now, I'm stuck driving my truck, which gets 11mpg, 65 miles a day. I've checked everywhere for new rear brake calipers and haven't found a single place that can get them besides O'Reilly's ... and their supplier can't supply them.

So, my question is, what can I order that is a direct fit? The front calipers look basically the same as the rear, not sure if they'll work, though. I'm trying to avoid the dealer because the closest one is roughly an hour away. Does anyone have any insight on what will work for the rear calipers in this freaking thing? Thanks in advance.

 

There is an active open recall on the rear calipers on the Outlander Sports. The parking brake sticks on because of bad seals. I just had 2 brand new calipers put on the back of my 2015 for free. Check your VIN on NHSTA to see if it applies to you.
