I recently purchased a 2013 Outlander Sport with a CVT transmission. Everything I keep hearing and from the dealer is that all you need to do with a CVT is simply a drain and refill every 30,000 miles. I am concerned about that paper filter in the cooler. Why does that not have to be changed?
