I've got a 2014 Outlander, and I was considering removing the plastic and chrome pieces that run along the bottom of the back glass. I've already debadged the rear end, save for the Mitsubishi emblem. Just couldn't find anything on this subject. If anyone knows what exactly is under there and whether or not it's held on by adhesives, I'd greatly appreciate the share knowledge. Opinions on whether or not this would look nice or weird would also be appreciated.

 

Don't quote me on this... but the lettering SHOULD just be held on by adhesives.

2 ways to remove...

1) pliers and firm pull back
2) strong fishing line and slide back and forth under the badges

Likely you will have some adhesive residue left behind... but should be pretty easy to clean up..
