So I got my outlander sport in March. I noticed two days ago when I was putting washer fluid in that the coolant level is at or maybe just a tad below LOW. This is when it "cold" before I drove it that day.

What coolant can I put in myself? It currently looks like it's blue. Any tips when doing it?

I would get it done with my oil change but according to the car that isn't for another 3 or 4 months or 3,000 miles.

 

If your looking at the plastic bottle under the hood it should only show half full. Do NOT fill it up!

 

Half full yeah. That's what it was when I bought it. However since my post, it stayed at "low" and then below "low". I stopped by the dealer yesterday and one of their guys filled it to "full".

 

Blue coolant ?

 

Yeah it was blue.
