2016 - 2016 HID Conversion

Hello Everybody i need your knowledge / Help.

I just bought a 2016 (2015) outlander with no HID Headlights, the OEM bulb as H7, so i bought a HID conversión kit H7, but when trying to install them (by "Profesionals") they told me that my Mitsubishi outlander 2015 does use H7 bubs, but it has some sorth of base in which the H7 bulb are placed, which is the one that fits the headlights base, and when they changed the original bulb to the HID bulb, this base is no longer able to fit in the headlights base, do you know if there is some type of adapter needed or if for my specific car model, or another bulb size is needed?.

My dealer says that is 2016, but i have the pre - face lift model, so is more like a 2015.

Thanks for your comments, any help will be appreciated.

the real 2016 (new model) outlander don't come with HID lights, they use the newer style LED lowbeams, and standard halogen high beams. Easiest route might be getting LED upgraded bulbs (more compact then the HID aftermarket kits, and may plug right into your h7 socket with special holder.

OK I'm going to wake up this old thread........

I'm a new owner of an 2016 SEL and I want to upgrade the headlights I have std. bulbs right now. What do I need to do to upgrade to LED headlights and how do they compare to HID? Thanx for any help you can give me.

will the HID bulb melt the plastic housings on my 2016 Outlander?

Which burns hotter (temp wise) the H.I.D. or the Silverstar Ultra?

These are the best bulbs you can get
Car Light Bulbs ? Philips RacingVision | PowerBulbs

And

OSRAM Night Breaker Laser Car Headlight Bulbs | PowerBulbs

They will work with your OEM setup and give you maximum performance.
