Hey All,

I have a knock/rattle coming from the passenger front CV axle.
-Under load, on acceleration, between 20-40 mph
-When the car is warmed up
-I have 2016 outlander 8K miles

The dealer has swapped the axle, which didn't help. They are out of ideas pretty much. I contacted Mitsubishi but they don't know what's going on either. The noise may be subtle, but after a long drive (high temp) it gets pretty audible inside. Here's the link to the youtube videos


Two questions:
Has anyone experienced anything like this? This same axle is used on all models from 2013.
What do you think is the issue and how do I fix it.

I really doubt it's your CV joint if your car is pointed straight and it's so warm outside. Usually it's cold and the car is turning when the cv joints make noise.

Other than that, i couldn't tell you what the noise is, but the dealer has 3 tries to fix it, otherwise they have to buy the car back from you(lemon law).
