Default 2018 Outlander, headlights suddenly turned off, high beams won’t stay on.

Hello,

this morning on my way to work, my low beams went out. The running lights all work, but the low beams on both sides are out. (I replaced both bulbs about 6 months ago)

The high beams will turn on, but they won’t lock. I have to keep holding the stalk to keep the high beams on.

I’ve already got an appointment to have it looked at, but just curious if anyone has any ideas on this one.

I have no idea but mine did the same as well! Though high beams would stay on in the last position when pulled once. Did they figure it out?

I have the same car and the same problem. Low beams went out suddenly at the same time. Bulbs are good and so are fuses. My mechanic is baffled and couldn’t figure it out. Every other light works. Anyone get it solved?

Did they figure it out? Was it very cold when they went out?
