Default 30K Service Questions

I have a xls 07 so in the booklet says inspect and adjust intake valve clearance.

Also check and service exhaust system for connections an so on in the maintaince schedule.

For the spark plug change, do I need to change that only one exposing in the front of the engine only?

Is that all necessary? and do I really need a auto transmission fluid change

if they called for a spark plug change, then that'd mean all 6 were to be changed. I read the back 6 are ugly to get to.

I'm trying to figure out what to do about my ATF fluid as well. Book says 30k, my dealer said it was good until 45k and hasn't been done yet. i'm a bit upset about that.

You should not need to change spark plugs yet. They last a very long time.
The Iridium plugs last over 100K miles.

Iridium plugs are a rip off, and Mitsubishi engines don't last long with them.

Stick with good ole $3 NGK Classics. They are the best for our cars.

Also, the transmission flush should be performed at 60k. 30k is with the severe maintenance schedule I believe.

It's the distance between the rocker arm and the valve stem. You can do it by taking off the valve cover and checking it with a feeler gauge.
