48k kms maintenance for Outlander
Under severe maintenance schedule there are bunch of service recommendations needed to be done, my questions is which ones are really necessary?
Any inputs? Thanks a lot.

i just had mine done.
i only did the flush and fill on the transmission + front and rear transfer case.
the rest can be done by your trusted backyard mechanic for a lot less.
i think Mitsubishi has their own spec OEM transmission fluid (diaqueen something?) that you cannot easily get over the counter from any parts store. for a few dollars more, i just decided to have it done at the dealer.
this will save me some discussion, if anything happens to my drivetrain while under warranty.
i had mine done at Scarborough Mitsubishi. PM me if you have any questions.

yes, i agree with you about Pickering. that's a nightmare. i am forced to have my oil change there as it's part of the sale package. imagine no resident service manager for so many months! what freaked me out was when they claim they can void my warranty because i don't want them to change my cabin filter!? trying to upsell me a $90 service when i can get a better filter in Crappy Tire for $23.
no wonder they closed down.
my first service with Scarborough was not bad at all.
i will try and see how they are after a few more visits.
i am counting on the fact that they had so many complaints, that they have nowhere to go but to improve their customer service.

"BEST BACKED CARS IN THE WORLD".....That's a joke! Their service is so expensive and some maintenance I feel is not needed so soon.
Transmission fluid at 48,000km. Come on now I'm not a courier or taxi.
If I'd have known the service was this costly I'd have kept the old vechicle.
And I bet it's not a licensed mechanic doing the work. Probably a flunky making $12 an hour.
