710 W Rockford Fosgate how long before drain battery ?
Hi
i was wondering,
I use my sound system a lots when i go to party and when we have fire outside the house.
i have the 2011 Outlander XLS with the 710 W 710 W Rockford Fosgate sound system.
I know every 30 min, when the car is on Accessory, the power stop, so i have to turn the key off then back to accessory.
But my question is, how long i can do that before the battery drain ?
I usually start my car for 5-10 Min every hours, is that necessarily ?
Let me know what you guy think
thanks

hard to say it probably depends on how high your volume is.. depends on how old your battery is. If you have Nav it's a little computer which would draw more power.
The 30 minute thing can be disabled by the way, maybe there is a good reason it is 30 minutes so it doesn't drain the battery. it might be a good idea to bring spare battery..
On a side note, what I want to know is how to leave the hatch open (I have the hatch gate LED) and fool the door switch it is closed, so I can possibly leave the hatch open while I sleep with the tailgate flipped down. I will probably get attacked by bears or something so maybe battery is least of my worries

For the door use a bungy cable should do the trick
