I just picked up a 2015 outlander with the RF sound system - no Nav. I'm looking to connect a Carplay screen using the Aux input because the FM transmitter is poor.
I have searched and found lots of "Aux in" posts, but nothing from 2014 and newer

I can enable the Aux Input from the radio menu, but of course there is no cables to hook up.
The Radio is the dy-5mu4r69-t and I believe this is the pinout for the Aux input is pins 8,9,18 are the connections. There are no wires going to these pins in the factory harness.
Has anyone done this modification before and does it work?
