Default aftermarket DVD and the Original Bluetooth

I'm about to install this after market DVD unit, but not sure if the original Bluetooth will work with it?

I will loose the display for sure, but if I just leave the rest at the back of the new machine, it should still function, am I right?

Don't think it will. If the unit has it's own Bluetooth then you will be able to pair your phone with the unit, if not you wont be able use the cars built in bluetooth as it requires the original head unit to work.

You can add a backup cam to the OEM DVD unit. (MMCS)

Ohhh.... well that would be a problem.

There are other options if you want it mainly for a backup cam, and not the DVD function.
