Any one turbo charge
an outlander yet? i have an srt-4 and an outlander and it feels soooo slow when i drive the outlander... im thinking of turbocharging the outlander and was wondering if any one has done this?
I've looked for posts and pages on turbo charging the Outlander.
The best I've found at this point are people that have turbo charged other Mitsubishi autos with the 4G64 engine type. Usually its the 4 cyl. Eclipse Spyder GS.
Try: http://4g64.150m.com/turbo.html it seems to be a good jumping off point.
And if you find anything new, let me know.

ok here is whats going to happen, my srt-4 will be recieving a t3 t4 upgrade after the holidays. myself along with a shop will then install my srt-4 stock manifold and turbo on the outlander.. it may bolt up. if no luck we will then modify my manifold to work.. fuel will be controlled via a psifi motorsports power paq piggyback system(same as on my srt-4) which is programable with a laptop.. we will then custom make a3" down pipe alongwith exauhst and also throw in some bigger injectors.. (iam thinking my stock injectors from the srt-4..... i also plan on intercooling but have no ideas for that yet. i will keep you guys posted,.,
contact road race motorsports in cali. i installed thier kit on my car and the non intercooled kit should fit the outlander. you will need custom piping if you want a intercooled set up. the new piping needs to clear the auto tranny. ask for rob when you call road race.
