Any one know where i can get a screen protected for the Navi screen. im sure someone put one on theres already? is it a good idea to put one on it since in the summer the car will get very hot.

 

You may want to check as someelectronics stores like BestBuy or Circuit City or stereo shops like Tweeter. Since they sell alot of aftermarket Nav systems/stereos/in-dash DVD players they may have something that would fit our screens.

If not, a computer store might have a type of monitor film that could work. I haven't had the time to stop in and look for anything yet, but that's where i plan to start...unless somebody posts someplace betterfirst.

Cool. Let me know what you find out. I tend to be a neat freak and hate all the smudges on the screen, but with work, 2 small children, and plenty of other junk to do I never find the time to get out and look for this stuff.

 

The best thing to do is get some 3M Clear Vinyl. That stuff is bad ***

Dont waste your time at worstbuy or CC. I got this from ebay and it's excellent. Perfet fit on the outlander navie. Make sure you let the seller know what make and model of your car. I'm using this on a pioneer Avic-D2 and my outtie. Enjoy!

That's a great find. Maybe we could get a group discount if we ordered enough for all Nav owners on this board.

The S/H is a bit high, but that's how eBay sellers make up the cash.

 

Thanks.. I've been using it for over 8 months already.. the screen protector works like a charm. Other brands on ebay not sure of. Having some protection is better than no protection at all on the navie.

willow since u had it for more then 8 months did u have any problems with it peeling off and did you have it in really hot weather with it being ok. how many did u get ?
