Default Armrest Cloth Wear

Hi All,

Just purchased a 07 LS today, one thing that bothers me is the wear of the armrests black cloth. The previous owner must have driven a lot with his elbow on the armrests. The centre console and door side are worn down to the plastic (car has just over 100tkm on the clock). See picture attached.

Anyone else has this issue? Does anyone know how much an upholstery job would cost for this?

Thanks
Max

Same problem here. Let me know how you solved it?

Probably a lot cheaper to install a new one... leather would hold up much better than cloth. Here is one on ebay: https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mi...th-wear-46541/

Had the same issue with my 09 Lancer.....It wasn't quite as bad as your pic....I'm glad my 15 Outlander has the hard surface one...I think any good upholstery shop could fit a leather one for a decent price.

Just try to clean it first. I thought ours was worn down, but I took it off and scrubbed it with dish soap and a tire brush. Looked good as new.just needed to dry in the sun for a day.
