I think you guys are just confusing eachother (and me).

If you run a dedicated, fused, power line direct to the battery, you will be fine (with regards to (A)mps/current).
I think you both said that at one point or the other!

Holy ****, Im sorry dude, I didnt know it was directly connected to the batt on its own, I thought it was attached to the audio system setup and used that for power... if what ur saying is true, then all should be ok... lol, the post I made earlier... I was hung over and pissed off... so I wasnt really paying attention. How many amps is its inline fuse?

Well I havent thought this completely through yet. I would imagine either a 60 or 100 amp fuse. My memphis 4 channel amp went through a 60 and my mojo went through a 100. But giving my amp power like that and extended the stock amp feed wires from the head unit and what use to be the stock amp to the new amp would be fine? The I can find a REM anywhere. The singal going to the stock amp (head unit to amp to sub wire) that wire if I cut it before it enters the amp and put it to the new amp that would work perfectly correct? Then I can hook up and sub I want in the back. Would anyone foresee a problem with cutting the wires from the head unit to the stock amp and wiring them to the new amp?
