Where is it fading on the steering wheel for you?
After 2 years for mine wheel, only a little fad is going on, where the stitching are, but just small amounts.

Have you used ArmorAll or any other cleaning product on the wheel that may have caused this?

Can you post pics?

Mine started to wear after 6 months. I never put any product on it, but I do drive alot and have sweaty hands. I bought a cover but that started to tear after a year. Looking for another nice cover now.

No fading on mine after 18 months. Do you park in the sun a lot? That could cause fading. Every week or so I take a clean moist wash cloth and wipe the leather to remove sweat, and any grime it may have picked up from my hands. I never put any leather conditioners/cleaners on it because I'm afraid it might make the wheel slippery.

It does get dirty pretty easy. Try cleaning it more often, you may be surprised.
