Bluethooth does its own thing!
The first time after startup when I use Bluetooth voice control, regardless of what I ask it to do - it does its own thing!
If I ask 'Call Home' it says 'Dialiing 04xxxxx, is this correct?' (04xxxxx = some random number). So I have to cancel out back to the main menu and try again.
When I try again, and any subsequent voice control commands during the same trip, it works perfectly! Next time after power off and on - it fails.
It doesn't matter what I try, Call Home, Dial 07xxxxxxx, Call Fred Mobile, whatever - it just tries Dialling a random number! Grrrrr!
Anyone come across this before!
Thanks!

TBH I've not bothered with the voice on my Outlander. I used to have a Honda CRV which I did try to use but found that my 'Soft Southern England Consonants' and the voice recognition did not get on, and I REFUSE to shout at my car to make it work!
For what it's worth I did have an identical problem to yours with the Honda but never resolved it. It seems as though there is a system buffer in the voice recognition system that gets 'stuffed' with spurious data on start up and has to be cleared once. Although irritating to use (especially to set up new numbers) the CRV was fairly reliable once the intitial error was cleared, but it was very irritating.
Sorry I can't offer a solution but at least you know you are not alone!
