Bluetooth Issue
I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS with the Factory Navigation setup. My Bluetooth does not respond at all. I have tried pressing all three buttons to use it and nothing works. Does anyone know what could be wrong and how to fix it?

What happens when you initiate the call from MMCS screen?
|
When I use the MMCS it just shows no bluetooth phone connected so theres that x on the screen and no bars or battery life icon. When I try to use the Bluetooth command buttons there is no response.
|
Check BT unit connections. It is behind AC controls, plastic box under MMCS.

Could also be clock spring?
Start by checking continuity and maybe re-pair your phone. This would happen occasionly with my Android with my 2010 Outie. |
Connection of the wire is good. I can't not start the pairing process because the Bluetooth voice command buttons do not work.

Try a Mitsubishi dealership!

Checked the fuses they all look ok. I am wondering if the Bluetooth Chip might have just burned out. If so would I need to replace the whole MMCS unit? Does anyone know how much a repair like this should cost? Will be going into the Mitsubishi Dealer want to have some prices in my head so I do not get ripped off.
