I contacted HTC and Mitsubishi directly about this issue found out some useful information for anyone else having Bluetooth issues. HTC gave me this link https://www.mitsubishicars.com/owners/support Then I contacted Mitsubishi and they actually have a BlueTooth hotline 1-888-702-4100. After contacting the BT hotline they opened up a case and want me to go back to the dealer and have them "Reboot my system" to see if that fixes the issue.

I occasionally use Torque, it uses BT connection but not with HF.

I also used several different car dock apps starting docking mode once BT HF is connected.

A little off topic, but I saw the torque app used with an in dash Parrot Asteroid rooted Android navigation. SWEET setup! a few videos on youtube too

I won't change my sporty 2010 for that "pregnant hippo" 2014 lol

That's completely custom car pc being built by a friend of mine.

Pretty cool. I TOTALLY agree with you on the hippo. 2014 is UGLY.

BTW I got the dash storage from a local salvage yard. Sweet storage. Easy install. THanks

I went to the dealer the reset had no effect. At this point they are saying to replace the Bluetooth module. Here is my problem I have the 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS and the phone I have is the Sprint HTC One Max on the mitsu Bluetooth website http://www.mitsubishihandsfree.com/findaphone.taf
The Sprint HTC One Max is not listed as a supported device but the Sprint HTC One is supported, has anyone used a phone that has not been listed/approved on the hands free list? Has anyone had their Bluetooth module burn out? My phone worked just fine for a week before all the problems is it possible for a non supported phone to work with the Bluetooth system?

My wife and I got rid of a perfectly good Nokia phone that I had to constantly re-pair with the car's bluetooth system. I called Mit support about it and that person and I went right through the pairing procedure in the vehicle and it worked for a few re-starts in the vehicle, but then soon un-paired again. The person asked me if the phone was on their list and I said no. She then told me that if the phone is not on the list of supported phones, this is the kind of behavior to expect.

We replaced the phone with a very inexpensive ZTE F150, which is on the list. In over 6 months of use the thing has never failed to pair virtually instantly.

When I bought my 2012 GT it came with no module. So I paid full price for them to install the BT module. But they really used BT module from a lease. That gave me issues. I bitched them out when I found out my brand new 2012 GT with a "brand new" module had "NACY'S PHONE" still on the sync list.... I believe the software revision was 10.0 so it was an older lease.

Needless to say I got a brand new one installed and I made sure of it. I marked the old one, called mitsubishi corporate, everything. I was PISSED.

The new one is software revision 14.0

Maybe see if they can update the older one. Possibly not, it might be different hardware as well

The dealer quoted me about $480.00 for the part and the labor. If I bring the part from http://www.mitsubishipartswarehouse....?siteid=214581 It would cost me $218.00 for the part and the labor would only be about $160.00 Do you guys think it is better to pay more and have the dealer find the part or just bring my own and pay for the labor/install?
