Yes my Droid Turbo worked awesome with 5.0.
5.1 is the problem.

OnePlus 2 has just been released and it looks like a fantastic phone with a fantastic 4K camera with OIS. I don't know if they're actually being shipped yet, but, if not, it will be very soon.

Unfortunately, the 2 comes with Lolipop 5.1.1 already on board.

I'd be very interested to know if the 2 will pair with our handsfree.

Has anyone bought the OnePlus 2 yet, and, if so, were you able to pair with the Mit. OEM Handsfree blue tooth phone system?

Thanks!

OnePlus One with latest, Lollipop 5.1 ROM still works fine with my Outlander.

Last Friday my wife and I bought a 1-year-old Note 4 that, because it has lived in an Otterbox Defender since Day 1, is in 10/10 condition. The thing paired with our HandsFree instantly and has worked perfectly ever since.

What a phone! Thing is actually a really tiny, portable, wireless computer that has a cell phone add-on, as well as a camera, GPS, and, believe it or not, a pulse rate and blood oxygen sensor, as well as a variety of other useful programs. Now I understand why these "smart" phones are so popular.

I would love to know what year and model of Outlander you have. If you have a base ES from 2008 to 2011 then your comments help. Otherwise they don't.

I don't know what the deal is with the Bluetooth issue but I switched to a Samsung Note 5 running the latest version of Android and have had zero issues knock on wood.

Problem with some versions of Android. I have a 2008 Lancer with the same issue. I also have a OnePlus One. It came with CyanogenMod. Going from KitKat 4.4 to Lollipop 05Q broke the Bluetooth. Now that Cyanogen is dead and Lineage OS has taken over I've been promised a fix in an upcoming stable version.

I have noticed with certain phones, the car has to be standing still for it to pair correctly. My Samsung had no issue pairing with my Pajero Sport while driving, however, my husbands CAT could only pair when the car was on but not moving. Hope this helps.
