Angry Bluetooth Questions....Frustrated!

Got my 2011 Outlander LS and still learning everything about it. It has no MMCS, but it does have USB, AUX, and 12v in the armrest.

It has the ASC button and also it has the Bluetooth options on the steering wheel. Now I do not know if every model was equipped with these but I have an inkling that they may not be working. When I push the ASC nothing happens, also I have gone through the manual trying to figure out the Bluetooth with no avail I have not a clue. Should I take it to the stealership and have them deal with it? Or do I not have these options installed and they're just there for my to click and get more frustrated.

Or am I just missing something? Anyone in Ottawa able to help me out?

Someone help!
Thanks, Tyler

ASC needs at least 5 sec button hold to disengage.

Press Voice button on your steering wheel to activate BT menu.

USB and Aux inputs are activated by either steering wheel Mode button or long press of CD button on the radio.

I sat in the car with the manual and tried tons of voice commands and nothing. "Setup", "Pairing Options" and nothing. Had the vehicle in park with the emergency break on, put in reverse and drive and back into park and nothing.

When I press the voice button nothing happens, no "listening" command comes up on display. Should I check the fuses or whats with it.

Did they put the ASC and BT in all the models and then just not connect it regardless of it being a paid option or not?

I think only the XLS has Bt functions. Bluetooth is available as a special order or dealer-installed options. which dealer did you get your Outlander from in Ottawa?

Bluetooth "capable" was the way it was advertised, I think.

A friend of mine bought a '10 Outlander two years ago. It had the steering wheel controls, but no module. He paid the dealership something like $300 to have the OEM bluetooth module installed.

If USB is present then HF should be there as well - both are features of same module.

Needs bluetooth module maybe? Check behind the dome lights to see if the mic is there.
