Default Brake change

Brakes were finally worn out at 78k miles. Replaced them with some Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramic pads. Picked them up at AdvanceAuto Parts for $30 a set after coupons. Put them on and tested them out...as far as I can tell, as good as or better than OEM. Took about 1.5 hrs to get them all in and seated the pads to the rotors.

Pretty good milage on the pads. Were the pads you changed the original brake pads?

I'm pretty sure. We bought it in 2009 w/ 30k miles and the pads were definitely not new.

Got the very same pads on my wifes Pontiac Grand Prix.

Never go cheap on brakes.
