Default Brake service position

Hello

was wondering if anyone had information regarding setting the rear pads on a outlander 17 plate to the seevice position to change the pads or can this only be done using a computer?
On a Mercedes i owned i could do this but struggling for information on how to do it.

Cheers
Scott

Information on this issue doesn't seem plentiful and allows dealership gouging. Did you get anywhere with your research?

  • Coopy31,

I've been looking at devices online. Amazon sells some that claim to have EPB functionality however the details on what part of servicing they are able to perform is scant. I’ll need to contact manufacturers if I want details. So far the units start around $350 and up.

Good luck
