Default break in period

I gotta drive about 500 miles picking my new Outlander V6.
What does the manual say anything about the first few hundred miles?

It's on I-5, so it will have a lot of constant speed and I will try to vary the speed a little..

Oh don't be posting that motousa stuff... kind of wanted to know what the manual says (I don't have mine yet!). I assume the hard break in is done by previous test drives..

Congrats on your new Outlander. Break in is simple. No jack rabbit starts or hard braking and keep your rpms and speed reasonable. Other than that I'm sure the owner's manual you will get with the vehicle has less than a page of info on break in, so take the couple of minutes to look it up in the manual before you leave the dealership.
