Default Buyer's remorse ?

With all of the issues (glitches and recalls) on the new Outlander - I'm curious if anyone is having buyer's remorse? If you are; did you upgrade from an older Outlander and wish you didn't?

I'm not sure what glitches your talking about, but as far as I know there is only one recall on the 2016 and that's just to update the software for the cvt. I don't feel that's a major issue. I bought mine and love it. I'd defiantly buy it again.

2016 gt. Love it. Only issue is city mpg sucks. Zero problems. Would have loved carplay but it's not a deal breaker.

Again, not sure what you mean about all of glitches and recalls. We've had ours since the beginning of the year and it works as intended. I've whined about some design or technical decisions by Mitsubishi, but they are not defects. I'm not aware of a safety recall and I haven't experienced any glitches. Keep in mind that this is an internet forum and is the place to ask about any issues people experience. You will likely hear every type of issue, but it seems that a great many are user error or something behaving not as expected. Not saying all of course, because as we all know, cars have problems. From what I've gathered from mine and others experiences, this car is pretty solid.

Still love my '07. She's a work horse and still gets decent mileage for her age. The only major repairs has been the timing belt and spark plug change....what a pain that is.

I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS with about 100k in mileage I see other 2008 vehicles and they have not aged as graceful as my Mitsubishi. I got the most bang for my buck and do not regret buying it. I am actually looking forward to buying the future larger Outlander.

Just read the threads that have been started or talked about, here.

I don't own one - so I'm not going to get specific here - but was curious to hear others' experiences and opinions, since I don't know if there will be a replacement that I like enough, when it comes time - for my '13. (I had the choice between my '13 and the new '16 - and the '13 won out for several reasons.)

To give you only one example; I love the split tailgate.

Default Rust?

Should I stay away from this 2008? It has 60k. No other rust, immaculate body but the underside looks suspect. This thing will have to go through more Ohio winters. No warranty.

I've never owned a Mitsubishi so I'' not really aware of what kind of money it takes to do basic repairs like mufflers, brakes, etc.
