My wife and I are looking at buying an 08 LS with sun and sound package (and possibly nav) and are wondering what we can get one for. Please post what model and options you have and what you paid. If you happen to know the invoice price in Canada please let me know that too.

I'm from Calgary, but managed to find the best deal in Lethbridge. We paid $30250 for a 4wd V6 LS with convenience package, all in(tax, freight, etc) in August 2007. Try calling or emailing Christian at Lethbridge Mitsu and see what he can do.

 

I'm from Regina, and bought an '08 Outlander XLS for $33,888 before tax w/o the Nav. If you're from Regina, tell the manager Kofithat Jeff sent you. Invoice price for the LS w/Sun and Sound is $30,344. What I have found is that in general, higher priced models > $28,000 have a retail price that is about 8.3% greater than invoice. So use that as a way to guage the invoice price.

 

What is included in the convenience group? The only options I see on the website are the sun & sound pack.

So it looks like I can at least expect to negotiate the freight and pdi costs, maybe a tad more.

 

The convenience package that tcp was referring to was for the 2007 model, which was $1250 add on for alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift ****, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, a cargo area cover, floor mats,two 12-volt accessory outlets, colour-keyed outside mirrors and Bluetooth cellphone wiring. I believe it was $29,843 retail for the 2007 package at the time.

 

Just get it from the US of A.

Got one from a Mits dealer in ontario. 07 model 3000K on it. XLS (no leather seats) with Navi Sys. 26K + gst & pst.

 

I was able to find the Canadian invoice costs for the 08's, thought I would throw them up here.

Got my Outlander XLS in Ontario. It was a demo, and I paid so freaking much for it. I got rip off!
I basicly paid a new car price, but bough a used car, LOL! But I didn't have to pay all the other fee you need to for a new car.

The price was 36,999 for my Outlander XLS with Navi.
You have to remember, we live in CANADA, the tax is crazy! When I knew my "Out the Door Price", I was shocked. I left the lot with my Outlander paying them around 44,000, I did the rust proofing and under car something...
