You have to remember, we live in CANADA, the tax is crazy! When I knew my "Out the Door Price", I was shocked. I left the lot with my Outlander paying them around 44,000, I did the rust proofing and under car something...

Off the deralership lot, we paid 42.5K (pdi, GST,PST taxes, AC tax, tire tax and battery taxand all) - 08/xls/4wd/leather / sun & sound / navi. here in BC.
Only managed to get dealer to put on a set of wheel lock nuts and cargo cover. Go figure, the cargo cover no longer comes with 08 models but only with 07 model of XLS
