From the UK production film, not quite what you're looking for but it goes in all the same. http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/newoutlander/film.asp#

Thanks for the photos. As you might imagine, 2 bikes do need more space than 1 bike, especially if you don't want to pile them on top of each other or you want to carry some gear in addition to the bikes. In a RAV4, when you carry the bikes side-by-side, you still have space on the side for a suitcase or a couple of duffle bags.

Are you telling me you don't have a leaver in the rear which auto rolls the seats or do you mean one leaver which rolls the the seats simultaneously?

shows it clearly here in this vid, one leaver each sidebut surely it must be the same in the USA http://www.whatcar.com/popups/video_...v&vtype=WM

I know in the U.S there is one lever for each seat. To my knowledge, (and i fold mine up and down almost everyday) there is no lever that will fold them both at the same time.

There are a bunch of Japanese-language Outlander videos here: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.tv/ . From the first page, click on the "next" button to go to the second page, then click on the Outlander picture in the upper right. The best video is the second one down in the left column. It is several minutes long and the second half of the video shows a bunch of the Outlander interior features, including folding down the middle row seats and folding up the 3rd row seat, all from the back of the vehicle. They also show what appears to be a mountain bike inside standing upright, but it is very quick and they don't show how they did it or what size the bike is. The rest of the videos on the page appear to be short TV commericials.

They've turned the front wheel side ways to get it in

You could always wait for these products to hit the USA and put them on the roof then you'll have plenty of cargo space over.

Yea there is no switch in the back of mine. You UK guys must be lazier than us americans. I never thought I would say another county was lazier at something. Imagine that. I have to walk to each side and flip them up 1 by 1. That looks like a full size mountain bike fitting in the back. By the way how did you scroll around on the japense website?

Yeah, it looks like a full sized mountain bike with the seat lowered to clear the rear door. Lowering the seat on a mountain bike might be OK, but I don't think any road cyclist will want to lower their seat everytime they put the bike in their car.
