Default Can I change head unit?

hi,

I did some reasearch in forum, but where I found something similar to my question there was no answer. So, my question is very simple: is it possible to change head unit from unit without display and NAV to unit with LCD display (original from another Outlander)? Do I need any additional modifications or it's like plug and play? By the way, there is installed Rockford fostgate audio system, does it make any other problems?
P.S. sorry for my english
P.S.S. I own Peugeot 4007 but I believe audio part is the same as outlander's

I would like to know too as the only thing that worries me is losing the car settings function for stuff like the alarm and locks etc...

As no one has come forward I have spent some time looking into this...

It seems that if you have a head unit with a display that is able to show all of the vehicle information and set up you need to use one of these and you can then go through all of the set up options the original head unit has. Still looking for 100% confirmation but I have been told this is all you need...
