Default Can't find Driver's side rear brake caliper?! '07 Mitsubishi Outlander LS

I found out about a week ago from my mechanic that my driver's side rear brake caliper is sticking on my 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander LS. It has about 49,000 miles on it. He replaced the rear brake pads. He said it would be better with new pads on, but that I still need to replace the caliper.

He checked all the local auto parts shops and couldn't locate this particular caliper. I've now done an online search for it and am astounded that I can't find it either!

He said he was only about to find it as OEM directly from Mitsubishi and that it's about $260 for just that one caliper!

Well, I was driving it yesterday and noticed that the brakes smelled hot on that side.

So, either the caliper has started sticking again and is really running my brakes down, or it's something with the pads.

So, does anyone know where I can find aftermarket driver's side rear calipers for a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander LS?!

Thanks for any help,

Joe
