Cant get my car out of park
Hi,
My mums 2016 Outlander is playing up, she got in it this morning and started it and it started beeping and then flashed through a heap of warnings but has locked up in Park and she can't get it into Reverse or Drive. Has this happened to anyone else before and if it has what has the problem ended up being? We would normally just tow it to our mechanic but its parked in the garage at the top of a hill so its going to be a mission to get the tow truck there
the warnings are;
the 4WD light is flashing, plus all other warning lights are illuminated
Power steering service required
Brake system service required

Battery on the verge of failure will still have just barely 12 V but low output can cause all kinds of havoc through the modules, or alternator putting out unsteady current through an old battery, start with the easy stuff
