It's possible. I upgraded from OEM cd-radio to MMCS without problems. In your case, you will only use two of the three harnesses using the MMCS

Where are you to?

I am in the UK and have a brand new fasica adaptor for sale
It allows you to fit either a single or double din/iso unit into the space on the outlander

If you only fit a single size unit then it also comes with a storage tray to put into the unused space.

I used one to fit a single size Sony unit and put the cable for my I-pod in the storage tray
