Default Change Spark Plugs for Outlander Sport

Is it difficult to change spark plugs (do it yourself) for 2011 Outlander Sport. Have 104,000 miles. Dealer wants $250.00 and said need to take off intake manifold plenum. Obviously, Mitsubishi and other dealers of newer cars are making simple jobs like changing spark plugs for regular folks difficult so we bring them the business.
Anyway is it all that difficult or does it just sound SCARY.

Did you have to take the plenum off?
