Default Changing Miles to KMs

Hi all,

I bought a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander from UK (miles) and I drove it to another country which is in KMs. I went to the Mitsubishi Dealer and they connected a computer to the car, and tried to change the units from Miles to KMs.

They said its not possible however the average calculated fuel is NOW in KMs, while the mileage is in Miles...

Any hints? tips? anything I can do without involving the Dealer? I been there now...

Thanks

I believe while in park, you need to pull the E brake and use the function select button just left of the steering wheel. I think you can toggle through different settings to get what you need.
may or may not work, but I've got a 14 and a 16 model and I've used that for a couple things. (like changing between TPMS sensors when going from my winter set to my summer set of wheels)

Does switching the TPMS from summer to winter work on both 14 and 16? On my 14, that option is not there, but I think they added the year after.

My dealer tells me it's only on my 16 model that they started doing that.
I don't bother with it on the wifes 14 model, she just runs the stock wheels N tires all year long, but mine is a little more modified.

I would tell anyone looking into a GT model, if they don't need or want all the extra features but want more power, just get the SEL 2.4 (or any 2.4 version) and install the RRM aluminum pulley and their timing controller. Super simple and I've got more punch from a stop and rolling on the interstate than a GT model for 4 grand less....
and that's not including the intake mod and exhaust I've got planned for it.

Did you get the MPH changed to KPH? Did you get any change in setting screens by having it in park, pulling the E Brake and hitting the start button to the ON position?
