Default Cheap fix for TPS

Just had a Cheap fix for the TPS on our 2014 Outlander. Last weekend the wife hit a guide at the car wash and broke the stem on the TPS. well NTB couldn't fix it so they installed a regular valve stem. Anyway I called the dealer and they quoted me $145 for TPS and then labor. well I thought that was stupid for a valve stem and nothing is wrong with the sensor. So I searched Amazon and found this part. $9 compared to $145 it can't be beat. Best part I took the car into the dealer on Saturday around 9:50 and was out by 1130. with a smile on my face. NO CHARGE!!!!

Hope this will help the rest of you. Plus not sure if all the TPS's are the same on every outlander.

Newb here from Texas.

you were probably not charged because you just bought the vehicle from them. Firestone broke two of my stems off. Dealership charged them $180 to reprogram the sensors.

No they were going to charge me 145 for the TPS and labor. Still holding air after 6 days. Good inexpensive fix!
