I'm guessing the review will appear in the May issue, which will probably come out in the early April time frame.

I don't know if CR already have a vehicle for test drive. Last time I peeked into the latest edition at that time, the New Outlander didn't even earn a
"recommended" rating, which is weird because I know for a fact that CR weighs safety as an important factor for their ratings. The older, less safe (talking about airbags, ASC, etc) Outlander even got a "Recommended" rating.

 

How can they recommend something they haven't yet reviewed?

Exactly my point. Previous CR editions just talked of the new Outlander based on press releases. That's why I said " I don't know if CR already have a vehicle for test drive", because previous issues doesn't seem to talk of the SUV from a first hand impression. But since they would be coming out with a full review, we'll get to see if the Outlander 07 gets a recommended rating this time, and perhaps that's a circle with a check, and not just a plain check rating.

 

Theres other sites that test drove it already. Edmunds.com did a review on it. They pretty much review every car.
