..i am so glad to hear that many miles with no problems.

i am at 16000 mi. with no problems.

dave.. (toxcel) have you replaced front brake pads yet ? ?

No Front pads YET. Those 30,000 miles has been mostly Highway miles.

I Keep rotating the tires every 6K.I should be able to keepthe original Goodyears until 40K plus.If I did not rotate the tires since new, I probablly would to have replaced the tires by now!

I was doing the same with the tire rotations, but I heard from both a good friend of mine who works for a tire place and my mechanic that I would have been lucky to get more than 35k miles on the Goodyears... it looks like I got 31k, so I'm alright with it.

Heh, down in the dirt, driven like its stolen. I broke in the Outlander on a 1350 mile drive at 70-85mph with only 63 miles on it from the dealership. That was June 29th, 2007. I now have 13,700 miles on it and have never driven over 65 since the break in. The majority of the miles are from 0-35-0 with a sprint to maybe 50 and then back to 0, then 30-0 six days a week on a 49 mile loop. My overall mpg is around 16 because all I use it for is work and a run to the store or to the WMA to run the dogs. Not 1 issue to visit the dealer over but see my post on brake replacements, I have done all 4 corners and scuffed flat a set of tires already. 1 4wheel alignment and OC's is all she's asked for.

I want a diesel with the auto like they can have in England! Please hook me up! Aussie version would work too. Dead serious, I want one. Got ideas?

Purchased in Nov 06 and currently has 11886. Been to the dealer twice for clunk, once for heat, 3 times for poor fm reception.

Glove box rattles, windshield makes noise, throttle has issues (TSB), valves are starting to make noise.

Do I still recommend this vehicle to people that ask? No.

Things this truck needs: lumbar, heated mirrors, telescopic wheel, better dealer support.

OK, so I have an 03 Outtie which I bought new in May 03. Now it has 251745Km on it (the reading right now) with no issues.
Just keep the scheduled maintenance up to date, and it should last ages.

How has it been? Bullet-proof. No rattles inside or out, a bit of suspension squeak (mostly due to all the mud & crap underneath) but nothing else wrong at all. Been past redline a couple of times (w@nkers in Camry's cutting me off) in first & second, but all that happens is that accelleration ceases when the limiter cuts in. Has done a lot of really rough stuff offoroad - nothing broken yet.

Check my web page - the Outtie has not had an easy or simple on-road life!

5800k miles since August '07.

Took to dealer once for reprogramming and get the missing bolt cover for driver seat. Taking it to Nissan dealership to oil change next week.

Problems... not many dealers arround (2 closed that were the closest), rattles, interior scratched up easily, torque steer is annoying. Radio/Sirius has weak reception (have 08 Sentra to compare to), resale value way too low, trunk door needs to be slammed, not BMW!

Wish list... autodimming mirror, better gas milage (diesel) and/or bigger tank, rear view camera

Would I buy this car again? Yes! There is still nothing on the market that beats it in terms of features andlooks for the money. (Not Rav4, CRV, SantaFe, EX35 etc... well maybe Rogue...)
