Default Dealer help - Intake camshaft actuator

Hello everyone, I'm needing some help, my sisters car is at a deal, and they are saying the "Intake camshaft actuator" is bad and needs to be replaced. I'm at a loss of what they are talking about, the dealer is saying its a 4hr job, and its a 700.00+ part, can anyone tell me what part they are replacing. Exact words from the dealer " valve cover has to come off, and the part keeps the motor in time, and now it's out of time, and that is why it is shaking."

Its a 2014 outlanders 2wd and I believe its a ES, I have looked and can't find any part called anything like that.
