It is when I tap the switch- spraying and wiping for what seems an excessive amount of time.
Didn't notice it before and now dealership is closed for holiday. Ack!

Sounds like the courtesy wipe feature.. It really bothered me so I turned it off...

Though I don't recall (I've had it off since like day 2) if it actually runs the washer more than once or just wipes like 15 times in a row after you let go...

If you tap the sprayer, it will do the "Spray spray spray..wipe.."etc function

If you hold the sprayer down for 1 second, it will spray and wipe 3 times.

Personally I like the auto spray feature, it's coincidental that's generally how I would normally spray my windshield.

I always found it would spray, wipe, wipe, smear, squeak and would be distracting while I was trying to drive.. I guess that's why they make it an option.
