You should ask your dealer. This is standard service operation. All dealers canprogramm this and many other functions such as rearwiper delay, auto fold mirror, interior lamp cut off time etc. Service computer require.

I know that my XLS (w/HID) has a relay under the hood labled "DRL." When you remove it, the DRL's stop working. I'm not sure if it's the same for yours though.

I want my XLS (w/HID) to have the DRL's on all the time. So that when the HID's are on, they act like fog lights. Even if they dont provide any more light than just the HID's by themselves. I mean they are used as fog lights on other models, why not just keep them on (looks better).

As I understand, you want make HID's on when you turn ignition key on? It is possible. We call it "Euro-light".
I have descriptionof programmed functions using M.U.T-III (MMC service computer). You can ask your dealer to customize your cars. Anybody need it?

But I don't know how I can upload this *.pdf filefor access it from this forum.

Thanks for doc Sergey!

Unfortunately, I don't see enabling fog lights as one of the options there or is there a different name for it?
