Since this model does not have a dome light in the back seat area, it is very dark.

What solutions have others found to connect a dome light that can go on with the doors open or operate independently?

I know you can use a stick on light but I want the same functionality you would get from the factory dome light.

This was a bad design! We need a solution.

Agreed this is a bad design. Sould be able to attach a couple 5mm LEDs to the dome light circuit without any problems, just need a non-ghetto mounting solution.

 

Right, How do I find the dome light circuit?

 

Dropping the headliner, you should be able to tap into the front dome light with no problem.

But then again, I do not have the panoramic roof, so it could get creative getting to the front dome light.
