DPF dash warning light
I recommend you to not use the car until you read codes. Because if there is an error code then after awhile the DPF will miss its regeneration, then you will get another warning and... as a consequence, ... the limp mode. And to get rid of that code you will need to reset the DPF with help of MUT-III only (i do not know any other tool which can do that), otherwise usual "removal of that code" with other obd2 tool or even mut-iii itself will not be possible. I had such situation once in my 2.2DiD (caused by faulty temperature sensor), luckily I had MUT-III but it took me a while to figure out the correct procedure. This complex system is solely designed in order to pull money out of owners, some are even fooled by convincing them that DPF need a replacement. Basically, DPF reset procedure is usually used when DPF gets replaced (in addition, the regeneration history is deleted from ECU memory).
Thanks for your reply.
Checked codes, one showing glow plug not receiving current.....odd as car starts from cold fine and no running issues. The other code showing DPF additive low. Just had new pack of additive delivered have yet to install it.
