I dunno how that works for passenger vehicles on the freeway. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. Drafting isn't really going to benefit you much unless you're inches from the other vehicles rear. I'd rather pay for gas than pay for collision repairs, worst hospitable bills.

I can't stand when someone tailgates me and I never do that either (even if it's a bus), just like someone said drafting sounds like an accident to happen.

You could try polishing your car twice that way the air will flow over your car better!!! should save about 10 extra mpg in a life time or if your tailgating the car in front that close you could be dead and not know!!!

My personal rule for 'drafting' big rigs is that I have to see their mirrors...but that is several lengths back and being that far back the effect isn't much..MAYBE a mpg or 2
