Default Durability of Chrome Pack

Hi

I have just purchased a Nov 2008 Diamond with chrome pack (UK Model). I have noticed marked blistering on the Offside mirror chrome cover. Is this a common problem?

I've seen one complaint on the forum regarding rust problems with the "after factory" applied chrome on the Diamond.

My car is a 2009 build and to date has no problems with the chrome.

As you're just out of warranty Mitsubishi UK won't be interested. Personally I'd just remove them. You should find the body coloured originals underneath.

Mines a 56 model year, all chrome bits as good as new, I give them a wax polish twice an year, perhaps that helps to keep them in good order
