Normal 0 21 You’re doing a great job, everybody! I bought my outlander (a super-black 'Instyle') in France, few days ago. My MMC (261EM, applic 00.31.06) has accepted very easy the patch:

a few little questions:
1. Does the MMCS contain a TV receiver (not activated?) if 'yes': an analogical or digital one?
2. Pity that this MMC with a HDD can't copy the mp3 or avi files... Once the copies are writed on the unlocked HDD, can the MMCS reading them (mp3, mpeg2, mpeg4...)?
3. the copied CD's are encoded (shrinked)? How many hours of music we can storage?
4. no USB / memory card extension ?!? We’re in 2008, no other quality-media stuff produced without a sort of memory extension these days!

Yes Otaku is the master of the game.... told you it will work with a different copy program. To Eduardena, no TV tuner, no usb, no memory card slot(s)..... you need a new commercial unit for these....

Downloaded etc using an imac and an unbranded cd..can't believe how easy it's been - awesome, thanks again to you all...ps mine's an Outlander Diamond 2.2 diesel - best SUV on the road and tonight has gone one stage further!

Tried again, same result. Check disk.
I tried with different burn software (this one actually showed the 2 .kwi files) burnt as an image to a cd, stuck it in the slot.
Does the car need to be running? Does the CD need to be closed? Because I can't find an option ANYWHERE on my notebook to close a disk.
How do I find out which software versionmy MMCSis running?

 

Any patch for 3110 yet? I am having this version too and the iso is not working for me too! Please help!

I read, that the new MY09 has a 40GB HDD, and a capability to rip MP3-s to HDD, and capability to support VCDs along with DVDs. It will be nice, if our good friend, Otaku, or somebody else examine the possibilities to modify a factory firmware, and make one universal patch or HDD image, which have these modifications:
-enabled DVD and AUX in motion,
-enabled MP3 ripping to HDD
-enabled vcd or divx watching on MMCS
-display inside temperature, not just outside
-some better method for CDDB update...

(and if possible, some "hardware key" override for upgrade navi-maps...)

PS. Any info for new navi maps for European version? And is it truth, that map upgrade is only once possible? Now, I even cant use navigation in my country... no map...

 

According to our local Mitsu representative we are expecting new Navi maps for EU mid November, trust you will hear from us when this blessed day comes...
